FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2025
We’re beyond excited to welcome back Brandon Stosuy to the Sad Dads Book Club for a special Q&A at Black Rock Books in Bridgeport, CT, on Friday, March 14, at 7 PM!
For this round of Sad Dads, we’re celebrating Brandon’s career and diving into his work—especially “Sad Happens: A Celebration of Tears” which has been an essential read for us.
In “Sad Happens,” Brandon reminds us that sadness isn’t something to run from but something to understand, sit with, and move through. It’s a book that feels right at home in this club, where we explore emotions through music, literature, and community.
But “Sad Happens” is just one part of his incredible work. As a writer, curator, and co-founder of The Creative Independent, Brandon has spent years shaping conversations about art, music, and culture. His previous books, including “Make Time for Creativity,” “How to Fail Successfully,” and “Stay Inspired,” offer thoughtful, practical wisdom on maintaining a creative life.
We’ll be talking about “Sad Happens,” alongside his other works, and his journey through music and writing. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just discovering his work, this is one you won’t want to miss.
Join us at Black Rock Books on March 14 at 7 PM! Come with your questions, thoughts, and maybe a few feelings—it’s what we do best. See you there!
